Ahi Ezer’S Fun-Filled Learning Experiences
Ahi Ezer Yeshiva, our home away from home, is where our children spend most of their time and energy growing and interacting in the most healthy environment possible.
School is the most important part of a child’s development, therefore in Ahi Ezer, we insure that your child will be in the best hands. These past few months in school were filled with fun, educational learning experiences.
Who in their right mind would enter the recent and aptly titled “Pain and Suffering Tournament,” subjecting themselves to four grueling hours of leg cramps, muscle spasms, bruises, sprains, and pulled ligaments?
The promise of an evening of fun, imagination and wonder was more than fulfilled when guests entered Cirque de La Vie Chinese Auction of the Yeshivah of Flatbush recently. Unicycle riders, magicians and jugglers engaged the throngs of guests. Laughter and excitement filled the room. This was only heightened by the exciting Jets vs. Colts playoff success, broadcast on four beautiful large-screen TVs—some of the night’s prize offerings—displayed around the gorgeous Shaare Zion ballroom.

With much anticipation, Magen David Yeshivah launched a new and innovative program, We Magen David with an energizing assembly, much to the delight of the students, faculty members, and parents. Purim is the festival which commemorates the breathtaking Jewish victory over the murderous designs of Haman. Dr. Abraham Twersky, poking fun at the lack of understanding the advertisement has for the difficulties people face with real life problems, has a similar slogan hanging on the wall of his drug clinic: “Nancy Reagan’s solution to the homeless, just get a home!”
Medstar, Sephardic Bikur Holim’s medical referral service has been dedicated to serving the health and medical needs of the Sephardic community for the last 18 year, Recently, Medstar expanded their services by opening a cancer community center; an independently funded project of Medstar.
Too many Americans live primarily among people their own age, especially senior citizens. Sadly, as a result, the elderly are expected to live in a vacuum while young people have no idea how to converse with, spend time with, or learn from them. This way of life is limiting for everyone involved.
