An extremely important bake sale was held recently to raise money for the Rofeh Cholim Cancer Society. The event was held in the lovely home of Rachel and Alan Fallas to let everyone know about the wonderful work this organization is doing to help and guide cancer patients.

They were followed by Rabbi Eli Mansour, who said, “I am humbled to speak here tonight. This organization is quite remarkable. Sweat and hard work can make a difference between life and death. This organization is helping Jews and saving families.”

Special personal remarks were given by Mrs. Marsha Cohen, whose son Benjy was diagnosed with leukemia three and a half years ago. She is extremely thankful to RCCS for all their help throughout this hard time. She happily reported that Benjy is doing well, and wished to express her gratitude to the organization, and urged everyone to please help support this cause.

The evening could not have been possible without the help of the Flatbush committee of RCCS: The Fallas Family, Rochelle and David Rudy, Nathan Rudy, and Valerie and Joey Greenstein. Special thanks to Janet Matalon, Ramona Mizrahi, Sandy Sasson, Mimi Shomer and Margo Zarif for their help in enhancing the bake sale.
