Adelegation of nearly 100 people from Yeshiva at the Jersey Shore and Congregation Brothers of Israel marched together in the Salute to Israel Parade. The group proudly represented the Jersey Shore community, holding signs that proclaimed in Hebrew and English “Living It Up At the Jersey Shore.”
“We are proud to represent our synagogue at the Jersey Shore at the world’s largest gathering of support and love for Israel,” said Rabbi Nasanayl Braun of the 112-year-old Long Branch Synagogue.
“Joining tens of thousands of marchers was a thrill,” said Lisa Shapiro of Ocean Township.
“Our hearts were pounding with pride. It’s a part of the Jewish American experience. It absolutely took my breath away,” she added.
