At Ahi Ezer Yeshiva, we instill in our students a love for their school and show them that school is their home away from home. Each child is handled with care, and receives special attention to reach her fullest potential. Our teachers give their all to make every student shine her brightest. We achieve this by making every moment more exciting than the next. Each month is packed with learning, fun and excitement.
Take a trip through our hallways and witness the warmth and happy spirit in the air. The colorful bulletin boards, the school’s festive decorations and the magnificent projects completed by the students give the girls enjoyment and delight.
In honor of Hanukah, our school put together a phenomenal party with games, a giant feast, music and dancing. The 7th grade hosted the event, entertained us with adorable skits and unbelievable dances. Our teachers put together a Chinese Auction, where each teacher gives a donation and a raffle is drawn to see who the lucky winners are. For our younger classes we had a fantastic puppet show with excitement and music which the girls really enjoyed. And in honor of our wonderful, staff the administration organized a delicious Hanukah lunch for teachers.
Early Childhood Education
At Ahi Ezer, we don’t just teach the Parashat Hashavua, we make it come to life for our students. Each week, in honor of the Parashat, our nursery and kindergarten create adorable projects to bring home, which helps them visualize and learn the Parasha on their own level.
Love of Torah
The Hebrew department at Ahi Ezer Yeshiva is taken very seriously. We now teach according to the method of Ivrit B’Ivrit. We want our girls to understand and speak the language as if it’s second nature. We achieve this goal by using Hebrew not only in classroom settings, but during extracurricular activities as well.
Our 6th grade, headed by Judaic Studies coordinator Aliza Harel, performed an unbelievable play about the great scalar, Rashi. The entire play was recited in Hebrew, which taught Hebrew to both the performers and the audience. The entire school was amazed by the beautiful job our girls did. The parents of our students where invited as well, and they loved the performance and were astounded by its professionalism.
Our 2nd grade, headed by Mrs. Paz, put on an incredible Chumash play. The girls sang, danced and did a fantastic job. The parents were invited as well and watched their children with love and amazement.
Our board members play a tremendous role in our school, and therefore we were given the honor of Mr. Eli Levy presenting each girl with a Chumash of her own.
