Rosette Setton has always loved cooking. This love has grown over the past 35 years and she has turned it into an inspiring and successful catering business.
“I always loved being in the kitchen and entertaining. I find presentation and taste are most important,” she said. “Over the years, on every occasion, someone asked me to make dessert. My family has always encouraged me to turn my passion into a business.”
Her first catering party, over four years ago, was a huge success. Rosette has perfected cooking some of the most delicious and traditional foods of our community. She specializes in many classic and traditional Syrian pastries and mazza. She is asked to cater the Sukkot seuda for Ahava every year.
With each job, she has gained confidence and trust in her customers. She often tries new food themes and ideas. She has catered plenty of bar mitzvahs, brits, engagements, barbecues and parties. No job is too big or small for her.
Her impeccable taste, valuable tips and helpful suggestions help put her customers at ease. She’s always happy to assist with advice on décor, tablecloths, table settings and flower selections.
“Rosette’s kitchen is immaculate. Her delicacies are tasty. When I was having an affair, she helped me choose platters and tablecloths, and gave me a party that was both beautiful and delicious. Her gorgeous presentation showed me that she truly knows what it means to be a gracious and accomplished hostess, all in my budget,” said one of her customers.
With her homemade dishes, reasonable prices, and professional presentations, Rosette is the caterer to call for your next affair. She can be contacted at (917) 748-9644 or by email at rosette.setton@gmail.com.
