Magen David Yeshivah celebrated Purim with a festive and joyous hagigah (festival) in the elementary school building. Children and adults of all ages dressed up, danced and rejoiced with their favorite teachers and principals.
The Purim celebrations culminated with a wonderful carnival on Shushan Purim organized by 8th grade teacher Mrs. Ruth Afriat. The carnival, run by the 8th grade girls, included face painting, bouncy rides, snacks, games and prizes for all grades. The 8th grade boys celebrated Shushan Purim with an annual shushani (a mini color war) full of challenging relay races.
