On February 3, the anniversary of the passing of great Kabbalist Rashash, our community came together to listen to the wisdom of rabbis from Brooklyn and Israel. The event, held at Netivot Yisroel, was organized by Shaare Torah V’Hesed. It was a night of motivation and inspiration.
Rabbi Uziel Admoni welcomed the audience (of approximately 100 guests) and introduced all the other prominent rabbis.
The first speaker of the night was Rabbi Benoliel, Rosh Yeshiva of Mikdash Melech and Rabbi of Congregation B’Ne Yosef. He spoke about technology and how it can have negative effects on our children and ourselves.
Rabbi Yisroel Belsky, Rosh Yeshiva of Torah Vaadati and the Head Rabbi of the OU followed. He spoke eloquently about the importance of following the teachings of past rabbis.
Rabbi Azriel Mansour, Rosh Yeshiva of Shuvi Nafshi in Jerusalem spoke about the Rashash and the greatness and importance of Kabbalah and Torah.
Finally, Rabbi Shlomo Levenstein, a famous speaker in Israel, spoke about the importance of helping our fellow Jews. Rabbi Admoni left the audience thinking about the importance of one’s spiritual life and the significance of preparing for the world to come by studying Torah and doing good deeds.
It was a very powerful, inspiring night, sponsored by Joe Seida.
