Rabbi Zalmen Drizin of the Kings Highway Chabad and his wife – without fanfare, and with unconditional love, patience, acceptance and understanding—have been embracing and welcoming new members to their synagogue by creating activities and making themselves available for holidays, classes, events, prayer services, friendship, affiliation, and questions and all of their services are free of charge.
The community salutes the expanding presence and wonderful efforts of this fine rabbi and we are pleased to see so many people connecting with him.
Chabad has recently leased the entire 2nd floor of 1848 East 7th Street (off Kings Highway). The driving force behind it all is its Syrian Sephardic board headed by Randal Gindi, who as president of the organization has taken an active and successful financial and advisory role in its development and expansion. Other board members include Judah Cohen, Isaac Mishan, Dennis Ringer, Marty Ben-Dayan and Shawn Safdie.
If you or someone you know can benefit from the Chabad House, you can contact them anytime either by phone, email, the web, or by just dropping in at one of their Shabbat services, where all are welcome. You can call them at (718) 998-5394 or email: info@ckhwy.org or visit their website: www.ckhwy.org.
