For the past 10 years the Beit Edmond J. Safra Synagogue of Turnberry has been serving the Syrian community, in our magnificent and inspiring waterfront synagogue, in Aventura, Florida.
The synagogue provides a variety of daily minyanim, classes and activities all year long, for men, women and children.
On Wednesday, December 28th, the synagogue will hold a gala dinner to celebrate a decade of community togetherness and growth.
This historic event will be enhanced by the presence of our local and international honorees: Mr. Harry Tawil and Mr. Ralph Tawil from Brooklyn, Mr. Victor Fardj Azrak and Mr. Victor Dayan from Panama, Mr. Jacques Khafif of Sao Paulo, Brazil, and Mr. Albert Totah from Mexico City.
In honor of this momentous occasion, a commemorative journal will be printed, in which everyone has the opportunity to honor the synagogue, the honorees, their own families, etc.
Full details about the event can be found on our new website: safraflorida.com. Additionally, you can contact us via phone at (305) 931-4313, fax (305) 931-5644, or email at staff@safraflorida.com.
