Aside from the beautify treatments and spiritually elevating Torah class, a splendid Chinese Auction was set up, complete with an iMac, fine jewelry, designer luggage, and of course, a lovely bridal package. Sarah Gindi, an organizer of the event said, “Planning this event has made me realize what an amazing community we have. Each person that we called for help went above and beyond what we asked of them.”
The day didn’t end with the auction, our talented community bakers and cooks, supplied guests with a tasteful lunch and delicious bake sale.
It was clear that everyone had a wonderful time. Jeanette Salem, remarked, “The beauty bar was my favorite part. Today was so much fun. Everyone really enjoyed themselves, while helping brides in need.” Mandy Dweck said she really enjoyed Rabbi Yedid’s class.
First and foremost, the committee thanks Elliot and Valerie Betesh for opening their home for such a worthy cause. Thank you to makeup artists Judi Edery, and Renee Shamie.
