Individual portrait sittings by Susan Menashe were a highlight for mothers who had waited all year to bring their offspring for Susan’s special touch. Many hurried to be on time for the floral arranging demonstration by New York Event Florists. And Bonnie Mansour added somespirituality to the event.

“We couldn’t have done it alone,” say the four sisters. “We have no words for the dedicated volunteers who gave of their time and talents. The feeling of togetherness as we planned this event was palpable. Melissa Sutton was our graphics designer, Beatrice Sutton was behind every detail of the bakery, Mozelle Tawil was everywhere organizing a myriad of details, Suzanne Sasson put together the kitchen boutique, Joanie Mann made the Chinese Auction happen, it was Bridget ben Dayan who coordinated the demonstrators and created a most professional looking cookbook, Terri Elbaz took charge of the lunch, Jane Chouka did a great job on publicity, Mandy Cohen was a wonderful help on the auction and Terri Harary, Carol Menashe and Amy Sasson were fantastic all-around assistants with lots of great ideas.”
That feeling of friendship extended to each of the participants who joined in a glorious day of camaraderie in support of Ezer Mizion’s Lottie’s Kitchen in Israel.
