Dr. Eli Rosen addresses the crowd

Recently, GoKosher.org held its first annual dinner celebrating 20 years of koshering America’s kitchens. Those attending also paid tribute to over 10,000 individuals and families who have turned kosher over the years.

The dinner took place at the Jewish Children’s Museum in Brooklyn, NY, with over 250 people in attendance.

The honorees were: Rabbi Yisroel Gordon, rabbi, educator and the Lubavitcher Rebbe’s shliach (representative) for over half a century. He received the Rabbinical Leadership Award.

Patricia Y. Tsien, the Managing Director of Omni Holdings Group/Omni Fine Art, NYC. She received the Humanitarian award.

Drs. Maxim and Sofia Shapiro, he’s a radiology fellow at NYU and she’s a pediatric endocrinology fellow at Mt Sinai. They received a GoKosher tribute award.

Ari Moses, President Union Federal Mortgage Corp, Nanuet, NY. Ari received a GoKosher tribute award.

Lauren Shweder-Biel, documentary film maker and creator of the film 1-888-Go-Kosher, which was shown at the dinner. It is also being shown at Jewish film festivals nationwide and can be viewed at www.GoKosher.org. She received the GoKosher America Education Award.

Dr. Eli Rosen, community doctor in Crown Heights, Brooklyn was the dinner chairman and world renowned speaker Rabbi Yosef Y. Jacobson delivered the keynote address.
